Charles  Fay  or  "Charlie Fays " as we  are known  locally was  established in 1936 by my  grandparents Charles  & Mary  Fay as  a  boot , shoe and  leather warehouse, ladies  and  children's outfitters. The  business  then  passed  onto my late  mother  Eleanor, who continued  the tradition of clothing the  people of  Cavan stocking  everything  from  a  needle to an anchor. My parents  expanded into the premises next  door and  a further  extension  was completed in 2005.

Now  87 years  later  in the  hands of the  third  generation, the  store  has been  modernised and with  a  focus  on more  specific  areas like  lingerie , casual  ladies  fashion, baby and  kidswear school and chefs  uniforms.We stock  leading  brands  including  Triumph, Fantasie, Elomi, Panache, Charnos Lepel  Naturana, Naomi & Nicole , Miraclesuit, Bye Bra,Pretty Polly, Charnos  ,  Elbeo  Tights, After  Eden , Boobs & Bloomers, Kallison , Bagoraz, Blade & Rose, Ubs2 Kids Clothing, Losan Kids Clothing,Crocs, Lazy Ones, Slenderella  nightwear, Mac in A Sac,Lighthouse rainwear

I look  forward  to following  the  family  tradition  of  helping  our  customers with the big  and  little events  that make  life  worthwhile , whether its underwear  to  make  a  dress look a million dollars, a  gift to welcome a new arrival,  a  jumper  for the christmas party or  a  school uniform  for the first  day  of school.

I have been  privileged  to be  part of  your  celebrations  over  the  years and  hope to  continue  to  do so  for  manys  a  year.
